New Outlook’s Book Club wrapped up Journey to the Center of the Earth with a movie showing, popcorn, and drinks. Onwards and upwards with our next adventure, learning how Dorothy Vaughan, Mary Jackson, Katherine Johnson, and Christine Darden helped take us to the moon!

New Outlook was recently awarded a grant from Whole Kids to continue growing our Garden Club! The funding will be used for plants, seeds, nutrients/soil, an irrigation system, fencing and hardware, and tools/supplies. We are so thankful to be one of the recipients selected from over 1,200 applicants.

Upon arriving at New Outlook, each student is invited to adopt their very own comforting, cuddly stuffed animal. Each furry friend is unique and intended to help ease their initial transition. Thanks to a recent donation of DIY kits from The Home Depot in West Mifflin, students can practice building and creating with their hands. The generous donation included soccer ball kits and planter kits for students to assemble and benefit from.
